Events
- The launch party for Laura Kepner's delightful picture book, "When Lourdes Was Big" was held in Safety Harbor, Florida, on February 27, 2021. Kepner and illustrator Jennifer Tombuelt read from their book and signed copies in a socially-distanced setting.
- Also on February 27, 2021, Laura Kepner spoke to the Clearwater Historical Society in Clearwater, Florida, about the rich historical background of the city of Safety Harbor.
- The launch party for Deb Klein's hilarious collection of essays, "View From the Laundry Chute," was held in Safety Harbor, Florida, on December 6, 2020. Klein read from her book and signed copies in a socially-distanced setting.
- Authors Warren Firschein and Laura Kepner spoke at the monthly meeting of the Tampa Chapter of the Florida Writers Association on July 20, 2019, to discuss the Odet Literary Journal, what they look for in submissions, and discuss the pros and cons to forming a publishing company of your own.
- On June 18, 2019, Warren Firschein and Laura Kepner spoke at the annual Pinellas County (Florida) Historical Society Summit, discussing legends and myths from Safety Harbor's past.
- A launch party for the 2019 volume of Odet was held in March at the Safety Harbor Art and Music Center in Safety Harbor, Florida.
- Authors Warren Firschein and Laura Kepner appeared at Heritage Village in Pinellas County on January 15, 2018 to discuss area history.
